Cuba All Inclusive Vacation

Most Americans do not think of Cuba as the type of resort destination to compare with Hawaii, but there are plentiful options for vacations and holidays in Cuba, even with the embargo currently in place. Indeed, numerous tourism agencies offer plans for Cuba all inclusive visits so that there is no need to worry about even a single detail of your vacation. Like all other Caribbean isles, Cuba boasts beautiful beaches, astounding natural parks, and a nightlife that has no equal in all the area. Special preparations, however, may be taken prior to planning such a visit.

The Cuban embargo with the United States and several other countries affects trade as well as travel, so that an average citizen cannot simply board a flight to Havana. Furthermore, anything purchased in Cuba requires a great deal of forms and procedures in order to bring back into the country. If you are interested in Cuba all inclusive holidays, the first step to take is to acquire a travel visa that permits your presence in the country. This is not, however, a difficult acquisition, as it states only your name and any emergency information on your health or diet. It costs around twenty to thirty dollars — depending on the country some rates are a bit higher, around fifty Euros — but can be used for multiple trips.

If you have completed the legal procedures to visit Cuba and return to your native country, then the only thing remaining to do is plan out how you and your friends or family will pass the time on the vibrant isle. Havana is the capital of Cuba and the largest city in the Caribbean Sea; visitors from America or Europe will not think themselves out of place at all the modern day amenities and possibilities. Outside the country’s capital, however, the island is far more rustic and poor. Major resorts have large financial capabilities as much of Cuba’s economy relies on tourism, but other parts of the island struggle with constant power and water. A Cuba all inclusive holiday may not take you to the interior, but those that do will include spare batteries and water tanks in case of failures.

The resorts that offer most of the Cuba all inclusive packages for tourists are some of the most luxurious to be found. Indeed, some of these resorts have their own private airstrips, allowing you to land near enough to your hotel that you need not worry about taking a taxi or bus. Sometimes these private flights are less expensive than the ones going into Havana’s main terminal. It should be noted, however, that packing valuables in your luggage may be risky, as the authorities will search bags and suitcases at random and have the authority to confiscate any material they deem proper — most often, this is the most expensive materials in your luggage.

The high-end resorts that are most common in Cuba all inclusive vacations are among the most expensive places to stay on the island. Due to a favorable exchange rate, however, even the cost of these places may not exceed more than one or two hundred dollars per night. These are some of the only truly all inclusive options available for a vacation, as they will roll all expenses into one bill for easy payments and not tack on additional charges. All told, however, those looking for a cheaper option can stay in state run hotels, where the cost is only a few dollars per night and the food is considered far superior. This, however, is far from all inclusive in Cuba; the owners of state run hotels will charge you for literally every extra service, ranging from dropping you off at a bus stop to giving you bottled water with a meal.

Once you have arrived, there are plenty of options available to tourists. Are you interested in soaking up the sun and sand? Western Cuba has rolling hills leading to beaches and even coral reefs where scuba divers can catch a sight of beautiful fish and even a shark or two. The national parks are mostly located in the west, where some of the little rain forest remaining on the island can be seen. There is a variety of museums throughout Cuba, most of who only require a peso or two for admittance. The dining at restaurants is sub par, as the government runs all of them. Smaller hotels and hostels will most often provide a superior meal compared to the highest quality restaurants about the island.

If you are looking for a vacation to Cuba for cigars, relaxation, or even a medical procedure, Cuba all inclusive deals allow for easy visitation. Resorts and travel agencies offer packages available to navigate through and experience the island. Ensure, however, that you have the proper documentation to enter and exit before booking a plane flight.
